About Us
Bishopbriggs Tennis Club is a not-for-profit community organisation formed in 1962 by a group of dedicated local tennis enthusiasts who built three blaes/ash courts.
Our aim ever since has been to increase participation in tennis within the local community. We offer a wide range of coaching from LTA-qualified professionals including adult beginner sessions, adult team sessions and a range of junior sessions for a mixture of age groups from mini-red (5–8) to U18.
There is also a strong social aspect to our club with club events at least once a month and informal Gents’ and Ladies’ social tennis nights once a week aimed at getting people together.
For those who are competitive we have club competitions and we also play in the West of Scotland Tennis Association Doubles Leagues.
